Tim Bradley's friend Stan reluctantly agrees to join the Bradleys at a family camp on the Bar T Ranch.

While they are at camp, an archeological dig in some nearby fossil beds provides interest, excitement and finally mystery as the search for a missing fossil begins. Each boy plays a special part in the solution of the missing fossil mystery.
