Kurt Bruner is pastor of spiritual formation at Lake Pointe Church where he hosts the HomePointe ministry (www.homepointemodel.com). Kurt has authored or cowritten books with combined sales of over 700,000 copies. A graduate of Talbot Seminary and former group vice president over media with Focus on the Family, he directed the creative teams behind books, films, magazines, and audio drama--including the popular Adventures in Odyssey series. Kurt's two primary passions bubble up through his writings. First, encountering God in unexpected places as reflected in books including the best-selling Finding God in The Lord of the Rings. Second, the priority of the home --represented by such books as Your Heritage, How To Mess Up Your Child's Life, and the best-selling Family Night Tool Chest series. Madly in love with his wife, Olivia, and their four children, Kurt lives in Rockwall, Texas.
